Im moving on up...to my new webpage tashiaboyddesigns.com . This is not my first webpage. I use to own tashia.com 11 or 12 years ago but sold that site to a couture designer in London. She still owns that and looks like she is doing well. I dont have enough control here on blogger like I do with a webpage. I look forward to sharing my handmade life with you. Im still working on it and because I dont have time to sit and design all day it will take a while to complete the site. I have all kinds of plans and cant wait to share them with you!
Hugs, Tashia

Wine Bottle Cork Keychains
Made a few wine bottle cork keychains. I think they turned out really cool. Used metal findings and did a little soldering. This was a fun project. Got cork?

Bending My Words
Above is a really cute card I created today. I've been playing with wire ... bending words and names!
Below is a wine glass charm I made using the same technique...bending wire. To color the (20 gauge) wire I used my other favorite new product, Vintaj Patina, to add the painted metal effect. I really have enjoyed using Vintaj Patinas in conjunction with my Gilders Paste. They work together seamlessly...like cheese to macaroni, they just go together. I have lots of ideas in store for this "new to me" technique. Hang around...you might learn a thing or two :) T-

Journal: My Christmas Vacation
happy new year
i partied like a rock star....not really. usually we do party like rock stars but because I had a huge halloween party, hosted thanksgiving, and celebrated christmas for a month, i decided to just chill for new years eve. started my december journal of our christmas vacation while sipping champagne. i had lots to journal about. i did 80% of my shopping on amazon, allowing me to spend more time with my family...just one click and boom...christmas was on my front porch.

i tried to keep my journal simple by not using any large die cut machines. i only used 4 punches (2 border, 2 shape). however, i did complicate it with pulling paper from every direction...old, new, digital. the base paper (8.5x11) is digital paper that I altered a bit with digital brushes. im not going into details on everything i used. i'll do a more detailed review in a video for those who like to follow me there. i wanted a journal where I could keep things like recipes I used, pictures, gift bags, etc. we had a spectacular december and wanted to keep that memory.
